The Faculty of History, Pedagogy, and Psychology was established by merging of the Faculty of Psychology, Pedagogy, and Social Work (formerly the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities until 2019) and the Historical Faculty (formerly the Historical and Philological Faculty until 1992) by the order of the Rector No. 154 dated May 19, 2022.

The faculty maintains a close relationship with research institutions and higher education establishments in Eastern and Western Europe and the USA, enabling students to attend lectures by leading European scholars and participate in international projects, exchange programs, and academic events. Active student academic mobility is implemented. Students of the faculty undergo internships and semester studies at universities in Belgium and Poland under the Erasmus+ program. Significant emphasis is placed on implementing joint international projects and events.
