In the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, three students at the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology — Maria Rashchupkina, Viktoria Syrvatka and Romana Derzhko — took part in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program with a unique opportunity to study at the University of Pisa (Italy).
As the students said afterwards, the Erasmus+ program opened up many new opportunities for them. Studying abroad allowed not only to deepen academic knowledge, but also to meet interesting people, explore new cultures and improve language skills.
The University of Pisa pleasantly impresses with the high level of teaching and friendly atmosphere. The students noted the teachers’ readiness and willingness to help and support in the educational process, while the courses turned out to be interesting and relevant.
In addition to studying, the students were able to fully enjoy life in Pisa — a city with a rich historical and cultural heritage. They visited numerous museums, saw some great architectural monuments, tasted traditional Italian cuisine and got acquainted with local traditions.
The students note that the Erasmus+ program has become an important stage in their academic and professional development. It gave them unforgettable emotions, new acquaintances and an irreplaceable experience that will inspire them long upon returning home.
– We definitely recommend this program to all students who want to broaden their horizons, gain new knowledge and take advantage of unique opportunities for learning and traveling. Erasmus+ at the University of Pisa is a real chance to change your life for the better! — the program participants shared their impressions.
As a result, we note that international academic mobility is an important step for the development of future specialists, and Drohobych State Pedagogical University is proud of its students who represent our university abroad with dignity.
