Summary day

The last, fifth day of the Week of Polish Literature, Language and Culture in Drohobych began with consultations. Professor Józefa Zayonc-Yamruz had individual classes on the recitation of artistic texts. At the same time, the participants prepared for the meeting with all the teachers with whom they studied during the week reviewing the materials available on the project website.

The final meeting of the Week of Polish Literature, Language and Culture in Drohobych took place online. The participants of the event had a lively discussion on the topics of the lectures, how Polish literature has changed in the 21st century, the reading preferences of young people in Poland, compared the works of Polish Nobel laureates Wislawa Szymborska and Olga Tokarchuk, and talked about the kinship of motifs in the works of Olga Tokarchuk and Oksana Zabuzhko. There were also questions about the role of interference during the study and teaching of Polish as a foreign language, which were answered by Professor Alla Kravchuk.

We would like to thank the students at the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology for their active participation in the project, which indicates that the subject was relevant and interesting.
