From March 24 to 28, the head of the Department of General Pedagogy and Preschool Education Profesor Tetyana Pantiuk, Professor Oresta Karpenko and Associate Professor Lesya Perkhun took part in Global Engagement Week as part of the Erasmus+ KA 171 program “Staff Mobility for Teaching” within the framework of cooperation agreement between the University of Applied Sciences VIVES (Belgium) and Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University. During the week, the Ukrainians collaborated with their colleagues from different countries: Canada, Cambodia, Denmark, Great Britain, Norway, the Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain and Uganda. Such acquaintances open up new horizons for scientific research, improvement of teaching methods, and application of innovative methods for training students.
Profesor Tetyana Pantiuk, Professor Oresta Karpenko and Associate Professor Lesya Perkhun got acquainted with the educational programs for training specialists in preschool education and gave lectures to students and teachers at the University of Applied Sciences VIVES. The lectures of the Ukrainian team followed by numerous questions from the teachers and students aroused great interest and received positive feedback. The international partners expressed a desire to cooperate with the Department of General Pedagogy and Preschool Education.
The visit to Flax: House of AI was especially exciting and informative. Belgian colleagues demonstrated the use of artificial intelligence and virtual reality technology in various spheres of human life. It was a great opportunity to immerse in the wonderful atmosphere of Kortrijk – the city distinguished by its ancient history, magnificent architecture with the wonderful atmosphere of a European city.
