On December 12, the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” hosted a Regional Training for staff of international departments, managers responsible for international cooperation, and institutional coordinators of Erasmus+ institutions of higher education in Ukraine.
The event was attended by Ihor Hrynyk, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Information Activities and Khrystyna Voytovych, Head of the International Relations Department.
The training was organized with the participation of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and was aimed at increasing the institutional capacity of higher education institutions in the field of international academic mobility, effective implementation of Erasmus+ projects and the development of international cooperation under martial law.
The training program covered in detail the following key issues: features of institutional coordination of Erasmus+ projects; competition results, participation opportunities and international professional networks; visualization and dissemination of project results; cooperation with international partners, quality assurance and reporting; practical aspects of implementing international academic mobility projects “from A to Z”.
Special attention was paid to the challenges of implementing Erasmus+ projects under martial law, finding effective management and organizational solutions, as well as exchanging experience between higher education institutions in Ukraine.
The speakers and moderators of the training were Svitlana Shytikova, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, and Kateryna Zhdanova, senior manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.
The final part of the event was practical simulation work, during which participants had the opportunity to work on real cases of implementing international academic mobility projects and discuss further steps and prospects for the development of Erasmus+ at their own universities.
