This year’s August was fruitful for the Department of General Pedagogy and Preschool Education in terms of international cooperation. The head of the department prof.Tetiana Pantyuk visited the Ministry of Education (Department for Education (DfE) in London. There she had a working meeting with leading specialists of the ministry, including Natalia Moroz, manager of the Child Development Project Management Lead at Early Years Recovery Program Delivery Unit of Early Years Quality, Recovery and Welfare Division in Family Group. Under her guidance specialists develop online courses for educators who work with children aged 0-5.
Using Early Years Child Development Training (EYCDT) platform, all interested parties can acquire relevant knowledge and competences. This includes a child’s emotional development, inclusion, physical development, safety, maintaining mental health, nutrition, and more. All these questions are relevant for us as well.
The meeting turned out to be emotional, extremely pleasant and productive. A productive exchange of experience took place, because Ukrainian preschool is also distinguished by a high methodical level, excellent practice of child development, high qualification of personnel, etc. The British specialists with whom Tetiana Pantyuk met are well aware of this.
We are confident that this meeting and continued cooperation will provide an opportunity to improve educational programs of all levels implemented by the Department of General Pedagogy and Preschool Education; to expand the spectrum of international cooperation; popularize Ukrainian preschool.
