On June 4, 2025 long-standing partners – representatives of the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Republic of Poland) – Professor Dorota Kolodynska, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and the University Rector’s Commissioner for Cooperation with Ukraine, Honorary Doctor of Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, Zbigniew Wojciechowski, paid a working visit to the University.
They had a meeting with Vice-Rectors Mykola Pantyuk and Yuriy Skvarok, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science Nadiya Skotna as well as representatives of the International Relations Department Nataliya Hoyvanovych and Diana Fendak. The partners discussed the results of the long-lasting cooperation outlining new, promising areas for interaction.
Special attention was paid to the development of double degree programs, which will open up new opportunities for students of Drohobych University and increase their competitiveness. The plans for the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects in various fields were also discussed. It should facilitate the exchange of experience, scientific achievements and broaden the horizons of teachers and researchers of both universities. This meeting was another step towards strengthening international ties of Drohobych University and developing academic mobility of students and teachers.
