Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University held a kick-off meeting for teachers from Drohobych, Truskavets, and Boryslav to launch the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) “Teacher in an Inclusive Learning Environment.”
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce participants to the course structure, educational opportunities, technical features of the platform, and the requirements for successful completion and assessment. Teachers had the opportunity to ask questions, share their expectations, and receive methodological guidance for effective participation in the online format.
The meeting was attended by course developers and members of the project team, including Associate Professor Mariia Zamishchak, Professor Svitlana Hirniak, International Relations Department Methodologist Associate Professor Nataliia Hoivanovych, and Information Activities Specialist Mykola Kostyrko. They provided a detailed overview of the course design, its content, and methodological materials.
The course consists of five modules, each of which includes a video lecture, learning materials, a presentation, and self-assessment quizzes. The training is offered in a flexible format: participants can complete the course at their own pace and at a time convenient to them. The program is free of charge, equivalent to 5 ECTS credits, and is officially recognized as teacher professional development.
This online course is implemented as part of the Erasmus+ CRED4TEACH international project, which aims to develop a microcredential system and support the professional growth of teachers in the field of inclusive education.
