From Drohobych University and practice in Slovakia  – to a career in Lebanon

The AXIS International Rehabilitation Center, located in the city of Piešťany (Slovakia), specializes in intensive, comprehensive and systematic rehabilitation of patients with various neurological and orthopedic disorders. The center uses world-renowned methods and techniques adapted to the individual needs of each patient, taking into account general skills, abilities and recovery needs, while providing certified therapy by qualified and experienced staff.

The center actively cooperates with educational institutions, providing students with the opportunity to undergo practice and internships. In particular, Drohobych University students specializing in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy undergo internships at this center, gaining new knowledge and practical experience for their future profession.

A student of the Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University, group FTE 2225, Maria Dyakiv, has achieved significant success on the path to professional development. After completing her internship at a rehabilitation center in Slovakia, she not only gained valuable experience working with patients, but also opened up new international career opportunities for herself. Thanks to the skills she gained and a high level of training at the university, the graduate was able to realize herself on the international labor market. She is currently working in Lebanon applying her knowledge and experience in the field of rehabilitation and helping people in need.
