Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University took 54th place among all Ukrainian universities according to the world’s largest academic ranking https://www.webometrics.org/ukraine Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics).
Out of approximately 32,000 institutions worldwide included in this list, Drohobych University ranked 2,697th.
Participation in the Webometrics ranking is not a formality, but a globally recognized tool for assessing the openness of the scientific process, the university’s integration into global academic processes, and the effectiveness of its digital strategy.
This result is evidence of Drohobych University’s systematic and consistent efforts to develop digital infrastructure, support open access to scientific research, and establish effective international academic communication.
The received rating is a joint achievement of the entire university community: the administration, teachers, students and employees, who work daily to maintain the high standards of Drohobych State Pedagogical University. And the progress is clear: in February 2023, the university ranked 121st among Ukrainian universities in the Webometrics ranking; in February 2024, 106th; in February 2025, 98th. And this year, it reached 54th place!
