On September 11, 2024 the results of the International Research Project “The Face of Stress and Loneliness in the Context of Military Migration” were presented at Drohobych University. The project was financed from the funds of the state budget of the Republic of Poland allocated by the Minister of Education and Science within the framework of the “Science for Society II” program and was implemented by the State Educational Institution “Collegium Witelona” in partnership with Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, Rivne State Humanities University and Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University.
The report on the results of the project was prepared and published in three languages: Ukrainian, Polish and English. The head of the project – doctor of humanitarian sciences, coordinator of international activities of the State Educational Institution “Collegium Witelona”” Beata SKWAREK presented the generalized results of the study “Loneliness and styles of coping with stress in the context of military migration – a comparative study of Ukrainian migrants living in Poland and internally displaced persons in Ukraine”.
The research group of Drohobych University included associate professors Nataliya Podolyak, Valentina Stets and Iryna Lozynska. The final results of the project were presented by Nataliya Podolyak.
On the basis of the conducted research, Polish and Ukrainian scientists formulated conclusions and recommendations regarding the practical use of its results in order to provide assistance to war refugees and internally displaced persons.
