After him, for 10 years the department, which was called the Department of Russian and World Literature, was headed by Associate Professor Viktor Auderskyi. In the early 1970s, the department was headed by Professor Liudmyla Krasnova. For a long period of time, the department was headed by Associate Professor I. Trofimov. In the mid-1980s, the department was headed by Associate Professor L. Nikolska, followed by Professor Mark Golberg. Under Prof. Golberg’s leadership, the department was renamed ‘World Literature’. In September of 1992, Associate Professor Myron Boretskyi became the Head of the Department. In February of 1999, the philological centre was headed by Professor Lesia-Roma Kravchenko.
