DEPARTMENT OF WORLD HISTORY AND SPECIAL HISTORICAL DISCIPLINES

The Department of World History and Special Historical Disciplines is a structural subdivision of the Faculty of History, Pedagogy and Psychology. The faculty and teaching staff of the department: 14 scientific and pedagogical workers, including 4 professors, doctors of historical sciences, 10 candidates of historical sciences (9 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer).

The department is a graduate of specialty 014 Secondary education (History) of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education) and specialty 032 History and archeology of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education.

The year of establishment of the department is 1992; previous titles of the department: General History (1992-1996), World History (1996-2017). In 2017, by merging with the Department of Ancient History of Ukraine and Special Historical Disciplines, the Department of World History and Special Historical Disciplines was formed.
