DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY AND CORRECTIVE EDUCATION

The research direction of the department’s scientific activity for 2021-2025 is the implementation of a comprehensive scientific theme “Social-pedagogical work with various population groups in modern conditions” (a scientific supervisor – Prof. T. O. Lohvynenko). Faculty members conduct research on a complex of contemporary social-pedagogical issues:

• Professional training of future social pedagogues for preventive activities in educational institutions of various levels (Assoc. Prof. Zubrytskyi I.Ya.);
• Use of art therapy and art pedagogical methods in social-pedagogical work with children and youth (Assoc. Prof. Hryntsiv M.V.);
• Social-pedagogical work on protecting the rights of children and youth (Assoc. Prof. Hrynyk I.M.);
• Social care for children in modern conditions: domestic and foreign experience (Prof. Lohvynenko T.O.);
• Modern issues of social-pedagogical work with children and youth (Assoc. Prof. Huk O.V.);
• Technologies of working with families as a social pedagogue: domestic and foreign experience (Assoc. Prof. Klym M.I.);
• Training future professionals in the social sphere to provide social support for people with disabilities (Assoc. Prof. Smerechak L.I.);
• Social-pedagogical work with gifted children (Assoc. Prof. Revt A.B.).
