An official delegation from Slovenia visited Drohobych on January 26. State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Boštjan Pavlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mateja Prevolšek, and Military Attaché Bernarda Volčank met with city officials and medical professionals. Lesia Shahala, associate professor at the Department of the English Language and Translation, facilitated the communication between the delegations.
During the meeting, the parties signed a protocol and later the Slovenian delegation visited the city hospital and honoured the memory of the fallen defenders on the Alley of Memory. The head of the Drohobych community, Taras Kuchma, the director of the medical institution and the heads of the departments of the Drohobych City Council expressed sincere gratitude to the Slovenian side for the provision of technical means for the rehabilitation department of the hospital. This modern equipment with software will serve as a means to restore the health of Ukrainian defenders and residents of Drohobych.
