On January 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Sobornist — a holiday of unity, strength of spirit and shared responsibility for the future of our country. The idea of unifying Ukrainian lands dates back to medieval princely times. Many generations of Ukrainians lived by it and tried to implement it.
The dream of the Ukrainian people about independence came true on August 24, 1991. Today, Ukraine is once again taking the test of sovereignty and territorial unity, experiencing military invasion. We are united in our desire to protect our state from russian aggression. We believe that together we will win and rebuild our united Ukraine!
