From July 4-13, 2022, sixteen Drohobych University students together with sixteen students at Witelon College (Legnica) took part in the international project “Potential and values of the Land of Witelon – from an overview to real actions”. The project aimed to research the cultural heritage of the Legnica-Wroclaw region, where Witelon, the patron of Legnica Collegium, was born and lived. The project program envisaged familiarization of students with the museum heritage of the region, visits to nature reserves, meetings with representatives of local self-government bodies, participation in master classes, individual and group classes, familiarization with technologies for working with children and youth, adults and persons with disabilities. The project was implemented with the assistance of the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council. Implementation of the project will contribute to the support of Ukrainian and Polish youth cooperation in order to build friendly relations between the peoples of both countries.
