Student under the Erasmus+ program at the Jan Dlugosz University in Częstochowa
Greetings from Poland! My name is Olha Vasenyova, a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages, Drohobych University. I would like to share my impressions of studying under the Erasmus + program. I studied for 3 months at Jan Długosz University, located in the picturesque city of Częstochowa. Classes there were extremely interesting. The teachers tried to get us to work in groups mixed with students from other countries, thanks to which we developed our communication and social skills.
I liked the fact that students freely expressed their opinions during the classes, and each of them would be listened to, even if he was not fully correct. It is worth noting that the classrooms are comfortable and well-equipped, which allows both teachers and students use them to diversify and make studies easier. As for disciplines, the student himself can choose the subjects he will study during the semester (according to the specialty, of course). And the schedule of classes, assessments, various materials, etc. can be found in the USOS system, where everyone has their own personal account.
I would like to say that during all this time we not only studied, but also had the opportunity to travel and discover new places for ourselves. The Erasmus+ program is not only about learning, but also about new experiences, getting out of the comfort zone, making new acquaintances and, most importantly, reminding yourself and everyone around you that anything is possible, you just have to want it.
Therefore, I would like to sincerely thank the DDPU and the Department of International Relations for this opportunity. This period will forever be engraved in my memory.
