Ukrainian-Jewish Encounter at the Department of History

On June 27, 2017, a presentation of the books “Jews and Ukrainians: a Millennium of Coexistence”, “Babyn Yar: History and Memory”, “Babyn Yar: Memory against the Background of History” was held at the Department of History. Professor Leonid Tymoshenko, professor of history and political science at the University of Toronto (Canada) Paul-Robert Magochiy, as well as the compiler of the presented publications Vitaliy Nakhmanovych and Natalia Feduschak, addressed the participants of the event with welcoming speeches. The guests and participants of the event discussed the attitude toward Jews in Ukraine and the world. The book presentation was sponsored by the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter (UJE) Canadian Charitable Foundation.
