In 2020, Drohobych State Pedagogical University of Ivan Franko celebrates its 80th anniversary.
The conferences were co-organized by European universities as well as well-know international organizations.
In a global pandemic, the conference took place online on the Zoom platform.
The plenary session of the conference took place on October 27 with the participation of more than 70 participants.
Welcoming words to the guests and participants of the conference, as well as the staff of Drohobych University were made by :Yirii Vovk, Associate Professor, Vice- Rector for Research and Teaching; Andrzej Krynski, professor, priest-rector of the Polonian Academy in Czestochowa, doctor honoris causa of Drohobych University (Poland); Joris Hindricks, Rector of VIVES University of Applied Sciences, doctor honoris causa of Drohobych University (Belgium); Aziz Eftehari, Doctor, Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Marage University of Medical Sciences (Iran); Nina Novikova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Education of the Lviv Regional Institute Postgraduate Pedagogical Education; Svitlana Voloshanska, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Natural Sciences.
A written welcome greeting for the guests and participants of the conference was presented by: Patrick Bellink, President of the International Non-Governmental Organization ORADEA, doctor honoris causa of Drohobych University (Belgium); Rene Verbesselt, Doctor of Science, Professor, President of the International Non-Governmental Organization DISOP (Belgium).
Participants of the conference –speakers of the plenary session presented meaningful, substantiated and scientifically relevant reports: Yurii Chernobay, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Chief Researcher of the State Museum of Natural History of NAS of Ukraine (“Phenomenon of fragmentation and coevolution in ecosystems of the Carpathian region”); Associate Professor Aziz Eftehari (“ New approaches in the diagnosis and management of COVID -19);Nataliya Hrytsai, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor , Head of the Department of Natural Sciences on Teaching Methods of Rivne State University for the Humanities (“State and prospects of natural education in the modern Ukrainian school”);Yaroslav Lesyk, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biology and Chemistry (“ The effect of silicon citrate and sodium metasilicate on the physiological parameters of rabbits”);Nina Novikova, Professor, Head of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences and STEM Education of the Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education (“Introduction of STEM Education as a Priority for the Development of Modern Youth Space”);Taras Skrobach , Associate Professor of |Ecology and Geography (“ Ecopark- students as an educational-scientific and recreational- cognitive center of Drohobych”).
On October 28, sectional classes were held with the participation of speakers from higher education institutions, research institutions of all regions of Ukraine.
The conference participants gained new experience of communication in the scientific environment, planned new approaches to scientific cooperation.
