Participation of students of the Faculty of Biological and Natural Student under the Erasmus+ Program in the Conference

On June 3, 2022, the students of the Faculty of Biology and Natural Sciences, Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, participants of the International Erasmus+ Student Exchange Program who study under the Double Diploma Program at Polonia University in Częstochowa (Poland) took part in the Student Conference at Oradea University (Oradea, Romania).

The Conference “Environmental Protection: Current State and Future” was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the World Environmental Protection Day. Professors of the University of Oradea together with the Ukrainian students made reports and presentations on the topics: “Microorganisms that decompose plastic” and “The effect of microwave treatment on ethyl mint extract”.

In their reports, the students stressed a significant role that ecology plays in the modern world pointing to alternative ways of solving key environmental problems, emphasizing the importance of the environment for the sustainable development of society. Upon completion of the conference, the students received honors certificates.
