On February 7, 2022, the International Project “Sustainability and Loneliness” was launched, implemented under the auspices of the United Nations “ Project Global Engagement “, which aims were to internationalize higher education.
Students and teachers of our university became participants of the project for the second time. This year there are 11 first-year students of the Institute of Physical Culture and Health, who study under the educational program “Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy”. Lecturers of the Department of Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Nina Hrybok and Senior Lecturer Yuriy Rohalya became international tutors for the first time. Working language – English.
Also important tasks that will be implemented within the project are to enables students to communicate with each other, understand international and intercultural similarities and differences, acquire the necessary international competencies, compare the topic of lowliness related to sustainable development and occupational therapy in different countries in pandemic times.
The participants of the project, in addition to the University of Drohobych ,are: Arcada University of Applied Sciences Helsinki (Finland), Escola Superior de Saude Politecnico do Porto ( Portugal), Riga Stradins University ( Latvia), Iniversidad Rey Juan Carlos Madrid ( Spain), VIA University College ( Denmark), VIVES University of Applied Sciences Bruges ( Belgium), Khmelnytsky National University, Dnieper Academy of Physical Culture.
