Implementation of the “Ukraine – NATO” educational project for retraining of the military

On December 14, 2016 thirty-five former soldiers completed their training at the Center for retraining and further education. The retraining course in the speciality “Personnel Management” lasted from 5 September to 11 November, it was free and financed from the NATO civil budget. The main purpose of the “Ukraine – NATO” educational project is psychological rehabilitation, social adaptation and employment of ex-servicemen. The training was based on the agreement concluded in June 2014 with the NGO “Western Regional Center for Retraining and Resettlement”, which is an authorized representative of the International Foundation for Social Adaptation in Lviv Region.

Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work Volodymyr Sharan, Director of the ” Western Regional Center for Retraining and Resettlement ” Andriy Roy, manager of the NATO-Ukraine program Christopher Staut and the executive director of the program Olexandr Ogorodnikov, the Center for retraining and further education Associate Professor Petro Feschenko, chief of Staff of a Drohobych military unit Yuriy Tyshchenko welcomed the graduates.
