On November 15, 2017, the deans of the Department of Biology and Natural Sciences and the Department of Social Studies and Humanities, associate professors Svitlana Voloshanska and Ihor Hrynyk at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belgium to Ukraine Luc Jacobs attended the celebrations on the occasion of the King’s Day, the national holiday in Belgium.
The event took place at the premises of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. The pearl of the holiday was the concert “Sax in the City”, which brought together the best saxophonists from both countries. The attendants enjoyed the performance of famous pieces by the masters of the saxophone, accompanied by young talents of the Tchaikovsky Chamber Orchestra of the National Music Academy of Ukraine. The celebrations were attended by representatives of diplomatic missions of European states, heads and representatives of ministries, departments, representatives of many civic organizations, artists, whose activities are aimed at expanding international cooperation.
Our colleagues Svitlana Voloshanska and Ihor Hrynyk had the opportunity to present the results of cooperation between Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University in Drohobych and the Belgian partner organizations and discuss new perspectives of international cooperation.
