From January 12 to 18, 2023, associate professor at the Department of German and French Languages and Teaching Methods, Viktoria Luchkevich, had an online advanced training for examiners of international certified language exams DELF/DALF in French, organized with the assistance of the French Alliance of Lviv (Alliance Française) and the Center for International of education at the Ministry of Education of France (France Education International).
The program provided for the independent development of theoretical material regarding the features of competency assessment in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as online training based on mastering the practical skills of assessing candidate competencies, familiarization with the main normative documents on language education.
During the internship, a lot of attention was paid to the study of updated language descriptors of each level, innovations in the organization of language exams, features of evaluating candidates’ oral and written speech. After passing each language level and successfully passing the corresponding exam, Viktoriya Luchkevich became a certified examiner of all levels of French language proficiency – from elementary A1 to native speaker level C2 – and gained the opportunity to take appropriate language exams both in Ukraine and abroad.
