Associate Professor Roman Prots, Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports has received a FIFA certificate

On March 17-20, an international futsal training and methodical seminar was held in Lviv under the auspices of FIFA. Despite the risks due to the realities of war,the head of the UEFA futsal arbitration commission Pedro Galan (Spain)  –  one of the most experienced instructors agreed to come to Ukraine.
Leading national specialists, instructors of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Futsal Association of Ukraine – Victor Derdo and Roman Prots – were also involved in the intensive program of the seminar. Over the course of several days of the seminar, its participants, which included graduates of the Faculty of Human Health and Natural Sciences of the DDPU, masters of physical education Orest Dutsiak and Nazariy Lyzan, performed a number of important activities. 
In addition to meaningful lectures and presentations held in the modern conference hall of Hotel Sonata, there was a pedagogical test on knowledge of theory and the latest modern interpretations of the current Rules with a video test on the application of methodological aspects to the game. All participants underwent a grueling FIFA fitness test to determine the level of physical fitness and simulated game situations for making balanced decisions under stressful conditions and after special physical exertion. Work with artificial simulators and exercises on concentration of attention was extremely emotional and exciting.
During the seminar, the president of the Futsal Association of Ukraine, Serhii Vladyko, expressed his gratitude to Pedro Galan for sharing experience with Ukrainian specialists in the most difficult times for our country, and presented symbolic gifts. And in the final part of the seminar, Pedro Galan and the head of referees’ committee Oleksiy Banasko presented Roman Prots with a FIFA certificate. They thanked him for training a large cohort of young referees and wished him further success in the training of students.
