The section of law

On March 31, 2016 at the History Department an annual conference of teachers and students was held, organized by the Department of Law, Sociology and Political science. The conference was held in three sections “Law”, “Sociology” and “Politics”. Topics of presentations covered a wide range of issues on legal principles of the Ukrainian state, regulation of the family, children and youth, youth participation in political processes, as well as educational and socio-cultural aspects of the life of Ukrainian youth, etc.

The best were the following reports: “The jury in Ukraine: the legal basis for the establishment and functioning” (G. Vurlovska, 5th year, Faculty of History), «Shadow education: why school graduates need additional knowledge (based on international sociological research)” (M. Bokalo, 1st year, Faculty of History), “Immigration thriving of school leavers in the borderlands: the results of the international sociological project” (O. Vasko, 1st year, Faculty of History), “Mythologizing political reality through the prism of the history of the Crimean Tatars” (I. Voloschak, 3rd year, Philological Faculty), “The process of decommunisation: the Ukrainian and Polish experience” (K.Lopushanska, 3rd year, Philological Faculty).

A collection of students’ research papers will be published following the conference .
