On October 31, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Seminar on Ecology and Human Health was held. The attendants were greeted by the rector Professor Nadiya Skotna and the Dean of the Department of Biology and Natural Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Svitlana Voloshanska.
The lectures were delivered by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine of the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Liudmyla Pisotska, Ukraine “Peculiarities of finger discharge glow of students with different types of thinking and psychoemotional activity”; lecturers of VIVES University College – Svitlana Musina, Belgium “Health Promotion for Youth in Flanders”; Bram Lembrechts, Belgium – Drug Prevention: Easier Said Than Done; Eveline Le Roy, Belgium “Lifestyle Coaching”; Sociologist of the Flemish Center for the Suicides Expertise and Prevention Saskia Aerts, Belgium, ” Prevention and early detection of suicidality in youngsters”.
At the end of the scientific and practical seminar, the participants summarized the role of medical and biological knowledge and psycho-pedagogical component in the preservation of human health.
