On December 8-9, 2022, the All-Polish Pedagogical Forum “Evaluation of the UNESCO 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy in the Educational Environment” was held at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Konin (Republic of Poland). Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University was the co-organizer of the event. University Rector Professor Valentyna Bodak, Vice-Rector Associate Professor Ihor Hrynyk and Professor of the Department of German and French Languages and Teaching Methods Mykola Zymomria took part in the Forum.
The Rector of the Academy, Professor Artur Zimny, and the Rector of Drohobych University, Professor Valentina Bodak, gave welcoming remarks noting the importance of partnership relations between both institutions and thanked their Polish colleagues for their help and support in a difficult time for Ukraine. Professor Mykola Zymomria and Associate Professor Ihor Hrynyk also gave their reports.
Within the framework of the forum, a meeting was held with the rector of the Academy of Applied Sciences, Professor Artur Zimny, and colleagues from the partner higher education institution, during which the prospects for further cooperation were discussed, an agreement was signed within the framework of the Erasmus program, which will allow Drohobych University teachers to participate in the academic mobility program in the nearest future.
During their stay, our colleagues got acquainted with the facilities of the Academy of Applied Sciences, in particular, the delegation visited the Faculty of Health, discussed the specifics of the professional training of specialists, got acquainted with the work of laboratories and specialized offices where students acquire practical professional skills.
