On October 30 – November 3, 2017, an international scientific and practical workshop on support and rehabilitation of people with disabilities was held at the Department of Social Studies and Humanities. The event was held as part of the celebration of the 5th anniversary of cooperation between the Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University in Drohobych, the Oradea Non-profit Organization, Belgium, the Zevenbergen Rehabilitation Center, Belgium and the Crystal Rehabilitation Center, Romania.
During the week, the participants of the seminar got acquainted with the Belgian and Romanian experience of working with parents of children with disabilities, peculiarities of social skill development, and discussed the problems of autism. The seminar was attended by about 100 people, including teachers, students, volunteers, social workers and representatives of rehabilitation centers in the region.
The translation service was provided by the students of translation from the Institute of Foreign Languages of our university.
