The Faculty of Biology and Natural Sciences was founded in 1998 and it consists of 3 departments: the department of Ecology and Geography, the department of Anatomy, Physiology and Valeology, the department of Biology and Chemistry.
The teaching and educational process provide 7 members with Doctor’s degrees, professors, 33 candidates of sciences, associate professors and 4 lecturers.
The students of the Faculty have the opportunity to study under the double diploma program at Polonia University in Czestochowa (Poland).
The graduates of the Faculty of Biology and Natural Sciences have the opportunity to work in a lot of spheres – in educational and scientific institutions, medical institutions, local government administrations, industrial and agricultural enterprises.
The Faculty supports relations and actively cooperates with educational and scientific institutions of Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Japan. Also the Faculty fulfills the tasks of International projects such as:
● « Non-infectious diseases: prevention and promotion of health in Ukraine»;
● Ukrainian-Belgian project «MANTELLUISTEREN» «INFORMAL CAREGIVERS, VOLUNTEERS AND PROFESSIONALS: ONE TEAM».
