On 12 – 14 October 2016 the quadrennial Third International Scientific Conference “Condition of the natural resources, prospects of their conservation and restoration” was held at Department of Biology and Natural Sciences together with Jadwiga Krolowa University in Rzeszow and representatives of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kiev.
The plenary session was opened by the Dean of Department of Biology and Natural Sciences Svitlana Voloshanska. The participants were greeted by the Rector Professor Nadiya Skotna.
The speakers were: Professor of Rzeszow University Jan Gasior, PhD (Biology) Olena Barabash (Kyiv); Head of the Department of pregnancy pathologies of Drohobych hospital, Mykhailo Turyanytsya; deputy head of Drohobych State Administration Ivan Mizernyk; an employee of Volyn State Agricultural Experimental Station Halyna Andreiko; a scientist Natalia Osadchyk from Zhytomyr.
