At the initiative Igor Meniok Polonistic Research and Information Center with the Ivan Franko University, Drohobych, and under the guidance of assistant professor Nadiya Meniok the fourth year students of the Department of Philology Ksenia Vilenska and Halyna Mazuryk participated in the international conference “Polish Studies in the 21st century: between local and global. Dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Polish Philology at Lviv University” held on 17-20 November 2016 in Lviv University with the support of the Ministry of National Education Poland. During the “First Polonistic Talks” held at the conference on November 18 and organized by the “Freedom and Democracy” Foundation, Warsaw, our students presented their research project – a bibliography of scientific publications and individual publications at Drohobych University connected with Polish themes, the problems of Polish Studies and the Ukrainian-Polish dialogue. The bibliography numbers 500 items, the largest number of them being literary criticism works, primarily researchers of Bruno Schulz, followed by social and historical works, then by education and teaching research; there are many items in linguistics, music, culture, biology, political science and economics. Polonistic and Polish-Ukrainian bibliography of Franko University achievements will be continued and expanded, and then published in Poland.
