On March 25-29, 2019, at the Faculty of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Work, the XIIth International Scientific and Methodological Seminar-Training “Modern Technologies of Social and Pedagogical Support of Children and Young People with Special Needs in the Conditions of Inclusive Education” was held, which was organized by the department of Social Pedagogy and Correctional Education.
The event was attended by over 80 students of our University and a group of teachers from different schools of our region (Drogobych, Truskavets, Sambir).
The trainings were conducted by the partners of the Faculty – specialists of the Social Center for disabled people “Zevenbergen” Rafael Gutens, Frank Van den Einder, Anna Haylen, Ilse Van Helsesheht (Belgium) and inclusive center “Crystal” Shabolks Herman (Romania).
The work was carried out in the groups “Social skills as a team work direction” and “Understanding autism” at the Faculty of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Work, and in the group “Basic skills in the work with children with special needs in inclusive and educational environment” in Truskavets inclusive-resource center.
The participants got acquainted with interesting experience of practical work with children with special needs in the conditions of inclusive education, practiced the modern technologies of social and pedagogical support , improved the skills and abilities of supporting children with special educational needs.
An the end, the organizers of the seminar-training summed up the work, discussed the topics of further activities and presented the certificates to the participants.
