On September 22-24, 2016 the regular annual International Conference “On the borderland of cultures and peoples. Economy – society – culture” was organized by the Jan Grodek State Higher Vocational School in Sanok (Poland). For the second time the only Ukrainian conference partner was the Ihor Meniok Polonistic Scientific Information Center with the Ivan Franko University, Drohobych. The conference was attended by the university professors: Prof. Iryna Bermes, who delivered the report “Lemko Campfire Festival in Zdynia: a phenomenon of sub-ethnic authentic folklore restoration”; Assoc. Prof. Oleksandr Nimylovych with the report “Juliusz Zarembski’s Work in the Context of Intercultural Dialogue: Poland – Ukraine”; Assoc. Prof. Vira Meniok with the report “Bruno Schulz and contemporary socio-cultural changes in Drohobych: the philosophy of dialogue or” inventing enemies”?”; Assoc. Prof. Pavlo Skotny with the report “Development of Education in Ukraine in the context of global migration”; Assoc. Prof. Olena Halyan with the report “Diagnostics as an element of student subjectivity support during the migration process in Ukraine” and Assoc. Prof. Ihor Halyan with the report “Determinants of personal development evaluation of the Ukrainian youth: a regional perspective”.
