On July 7 – 9, 2017 in Uzhhorod an open European Championship in weight lifting was held among the Club teams, which was attended by over 100 athletes from seven European countries. Our University student Andriy Lahush (Deparment of Physical Education) won the European Champion title in two events – snatch, clean and jerk combination and the long cycle. The management of the university and the Deparment of Physical Education congratulate Andriy Lahush and his coach, Roman Kushnir (Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sports and Tourism) on his victories and wishes him further successful performances!
