Pan’kiv Lyudmyla

Паньків Людмила ІванівнаPan’kiv Lyudmyla, PhD in Physics (Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences),  Associate Professor of the Department of Physics.

She received her combined Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Physics in Uzhhorod State University (now Uzhhorod National University) in 1986. She was post-graduate student of Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, specialty 01.04.10 – Physics of Semiconductors and Insulators (2001-2004).

In 2013 defended PhD Thesis: Magnetic and electrical properties of sodium substituted lanthanum manganites on the speciality 01.04.10 – Physics of Semiconductors and Insulators. The results of scientific work are presented in more than 50 publications in periodic journals of Ukraine and abroad and Patent of Ukraine for invention.

Scientific interests include a study of advanced film materials with a high degree of spin polarization of electrons. The research results can be used in the development of devices with complex magnetic configurations for magnetically sensitive elements of information storage and recording systems, as well as elements of nanoelectronics and spintronics.

  • New vitreous chalcohalide and oxide materials containing metal nanoparticles and metal nanowires for nonlinear optics and photonics (2017 – 2018,  state registration number 0117U007143).
  • New vitreous chalcohalide and oxide materials containing metal nanoparticles and metal nanowires for nonlinear optics and photonics (2018 – 2019,  state registration number 80117U000716).
  • Optimization of enzyme immobilization conditions on nanoparticles in polymer matrices to improve the operating parameters of lactate-selective biosensors (2018 – 2020,  state registration number 0118U000297).
  • Dependence of operational parameters of amperometric biosensors on structural and morphological characteristics of new polymer composites as bioselective membranes (2020 – 2022, state registration number 0120U102224).
